Seminar for Finish farmers

About 50 farmers from Finland, organised in a study group, followed a 1 day seminar about future farming after the quota era. Presentation of Rabobank by Jacob Brand and Martin Eising about market and financial expectations gave fuel for discussion. Cownexxion emphasized the importance of good soil quality since fertilizer constraints are getting narrower and costs need to reduced. In afternoon 2 farm visits were made. One robot farm and one rotary farm. Both farms had thier vision of being prepared for after 2015. “This was an inspiring day and good preparation for the Eurotier this week!” said Jouni Pitkaranta of Cowhomes.
