The person behind the work
Cownexxion is led by its founder, Klaas Struiksma. Over a 35-year career he has taken dairy ventures from an empty field to a working herd across more than twenty countries — as farm manager, trainer, project director and board member of a large international dairy holding.
Before founding Cownexxion in 2007 he spent more than twenty years at PTC+, the Netherlands' leading practical agri-training institute, progressing from managing a training dairy to senior roles across cattle, poultry, pigs and rural development. He holds an MSc in animal-husbandry economics and is PRINCE2-certified.
On every assignment he is the single point of accountability — the person who owns the outcome, from feasibility to first milking.
